In The Wild Herag The Herring Gull - Simon King - Start Audio & Video - Vintage - Pal VHS

Steep Holm is a lonely, uninhabited island in the Bristol Channel colonised by thousands of herring gulls, and HERAG'S story gets off to a dramatic start when her mother's nest is ransanked by marauding greater black-bakced gulls. HERAG is the sole survivor. She hatches and for a while all is well, until her father is killed by an oild slick that drifts ashore. Unable to cope HERAG'S mother abandons her and the film follows her story for survival, from her fist fight to life-among a new colony on the Chew Valley Lake, where the brids tall prey to cunning foxes who walk out on the ice to steal them. Despite all the odds though, HERAG meets her mate and sets about rearing her own family.
