The boys find themselves in a sandstorm of adventure and lunacy, in this 1950 comic caper, written by that top trio of comedy —John Grant, Leonard Stern and Martin Ragaway.

The Foreign Legion has always attracted lost souls, but when Abbott and Costello march in as the latest recruits, well, they might as well lower the flag for good! The drill sergeant, despairing of his latest legionnaires, is desperate to palm them off, but events take a turn for the better, and Bud and Lou end up with the laurel wreaths around their necks!

Unlikely heroes, maybe, but millions have enjoyed Abbott and Costello's irrepressible humour, and this is one movie that is a veritable oasis of hilarity!
