For many people, Morecambe & Wise are Britain's greatest ever comedy act.

Their shows for BBC Television in the seventies remain some of the best comedy seen on British TV.

Eric and Ernie's show was also a vital part of the festive season, bringing together some 28 million viewers for their 1977 Christmas show, earning it a place in "The Guinness Book of Records".

This very special collection is hosted by Ernie Wise, who gives us a valuable insight into the origin of some of their material, their influences and how they really felt about Des O'Connor.
