The family of eccentric millionaire Cyrus West is summoned to the reading of his will on the twentieth anniversary of his death.

A film is screened of cyrus reading his own will naming Annabelle as sole beneficiary and announlcing that there is a second fil, with a second beneficiatry in the event that Annabelle dies or goes insane.

Dr. Hendricks, an unexpected visitor, arrives at the manor to warm the guests about an escaped patient from a nearby mental hospital, who believes he is a cat and tearshis victim apart.
